Interpreting Music with Free Dance
The children were asked: How does this make you feel? What’s happening? Could you show me through dance how you feel about the music? If you are happy you might move quickly, if it makes you nervous- creep, angry-stomp etc. The music was played for a second time and the children refined and performed their free dance. Here are two examples.

Well done Harry. Some very fluid moves and you have varied your speed and direction very well.
