We warmly welcome you back to school, and hope you have had a wonderful, adventure filled. Summer break and that you have enjoyed your time together.
It has been a very busy start to the year so far. We have celebrated Roald Dahl Day, with a fabulous ‘dress up’ day and coffee afternoon which featured many wonderful costumes and delicious treats made by all classes across year three and year four.
This was followed by a very successful school trip to York, to learn about the history of chocolate in the city, and to have a go at making our own marvellous creations. We even made chocolate drops with ‘lickable wall paper’, the inspiration for the creation and the visit beingCharlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
It is nice to see the children begin to settle into their new routines and to rise to the new challenges that Year 4 and the Autumn term brings with it.
