Autumn Term 2017 Introduction

Our topic this term is living things and their habitats. This will include a visit from Sam’s Safari into school. This visit will include a selection of animals that the children might not otherwise be able to see/come into contact with.  This should be a fun day!

Throughout this topic we will be looking at evolution and how different species have adapted to their habitats as well as looking at life cycles. We will be investigating soil and its impact on growing things. Our English focus will be the novel Skellig, which we will then compare the book to the film along with looking at poetry by William Blake.

I look forward to meeting you all on parents evening and thank you for your continued support!
